Michelle Charles MP

Political Career: She is serving her first term as a Member of Parliament for St. Thomas Eastern, representing the Jamaica Labour Party, having won her seat in the 2020 General Election. MP. Charles currently serves on the following Parliamentary Committees:

  • Human Resources and Social Development
  • Public Accounts

Profession: Dentist & Businesswoman.

Civic Duties: In collaboration with the Sickle Cell Trust (of Jamaica) she hosted a fundraising event which raised over $250,000.00 for that cause.

Education: St. Andrew High School for Girls, Northern Caribbean University (then West Indies College) and Howard University College of Dentistry.
