Edmund Bartlett CD, MP
Political Career: Member of Parliament for St. James East Central (2002 to present) and Minister of Tourism since 2016 (reprising a role he held from 2007 to 2011). MP Bartlett also represented the St. Andrew Eastern constituency from 1980 to 1993. He served as Minister of State for Information, Broadcasting and Culture in the Office of the Prime Minister and Minister of Youth, Sports & Community Development from 1980 to 1989; later he served as Opposition Spokesman for various portfolios, including Tourism, from 1989 to 2007. He also served as a Senator from 1993 to 1997. In September 2020, MP Bartlett was appointed Leader of Government Business in the House, and serves on the following Parliamentary Committees:
